Rockwool cubes and net pots propagation set

Data updated 2026-10-30

This set provides a large quantity of supplies for starting seeds and taking cuttings. It includes 200 individual rockwool cubes, which are a popular medium for hydroponics because they hold water and air in a balance that encourages root growth. The bundle also comes with 50 net pots that are 1.5 in wide.

The rockwool plugs fit into the net pots, creating a stable environment for young plants. This combination is frequently used in deep water culture or aeroponic systems. The porous nature of the rockwool allows roots to easily penetrate the medium and reach the nutrient solution below once they are established.

These listings are aimed at gardeners who do a lot of cloning or seed starting. Having a bulk supply of both the medium and the pots ensures that the workflow is not interrupted during the busy planting season. The materials are lightweight and easy to handle, making the transition from tray to system very simple.
